He’s not even 21 but carries a very strong personality, and is much more a leader than a follower. Jock, former team captain, and now a gay activist. He actually has a tendency to snicker and make fun of the House Boys who serve, calling them out on minor rules violations that the Master would otherwise let slide. I even see a tendency for him to boss around his soft-spoken 19-year-old boyfriend and wonder if that supposedly ‘equal’ relationship will survive or transform.

His strong personality doesn’t come from me. He wasn’t even a part of my life until after he graduated high school and moved to my area for college just over a year ago. The young man looked up his ‘gay uncle’ to help him ‘come out’ to family, and was greeted by a Naked House Boy at the front door. Boy was *he* surprised.

This Tumblr would not be possible without his assistance, and I am grateful to have such a loyal and open-minded member of the family. I wish they all were so progressive.
