The House Boy is required to remain naked at home, regardless of who may be present and could observe. When traveling with the Master, the boy is allowed clothing sufficient to meet all dress codes. The Master has the right to choose the clothing that is to be loaned to the boy, which could be an entire outfit or as little as a speedo or shorts.

When traveling with the Master to hotels and resort facilities that have outdoor balconies, the boy will not be required to use the balcony naked unless the resort is clothing optional, or the balcony is private. Instead, the House Boy will be permitted to put on and to wear white underwear only while on the outdoor balcony.

In the example photo, the House Boy is wearing Calvin Klein's tighty-whitey style while sunning himself on the hotel balcony during some downtime where the Master is attending a convention meeting. The boy has been loaned the underwear because the balcony can be seen by people staying on floors above him and the hotel is a clothing-required family-friendly environment. The House Boy is still required to immediately strip off the underwear when he steps back inside the hotel room, regardless of who is visiting the Master.
