Violation – Level Four (Use Of Illegal Substance)
House Boys are subject to numerous rules and protocols, many of which call for discipline if violated or whenever the boy fails to meet expectations. Punishment varies from Level Zero (non-contact discipline like writing sentences or re-doing a chore) to Level Four, which is the most serious sanction. Levels One through Three involve various kinds of spankings, which may or may not carry the use of implements, restraints, or insertions.
Some offenses are so serious that they leave the Master no choice other than to dismiss the boy or press charges. Other offenses are not quite so serious, but when repeated intentionally threaten the very lifestyle and social and professional contacts or valuables that the Master has worked so hard to achieve. It is under these conditions that a boy is charged with a Level Four violation, and punishment requires immediate action to terminate the relationship between the Master and House Boy.
Level Four offenses include violent assault, grand theft, use or distribution of illegal substances, and any action or omission that presents a clear and present danger to the Master, his home or property or guests, and any action which is a felony under the law. Failure to act to protect the Master or guests or the home or property – such as calling the Fire Department in case of fire – may also be judged as a Level Four Offense.
In the example pictured, a House Boy was discovered snorting an illegal substance in the Master’s home during the boy’s recreational time. This is not only a felony, it is also a serious enough violation of the Master’s rules that the boy must immediately be dismissed from service. It does not matter that this is the first offense or that the boy apologized and promised not to re-offend. It does not matter that the substance was brought into the home by a guest (who will also be expelled from the Master’s home and life). And it does not matter that the House Boy is naked and unprepared to leave. The evidence of his guilt – in this case, a photograph – will be preserved as a lesson for his replacement, and this boy will be transported to the nearest location where nudity is not illegal (in this case: the home of a house guest who volunteered to take the boy) and released from service. Alternatively, there’s nothing to stop him from walking to the property line and leaving, but he would do so without the opportunity to bring anything with him – not even underwear – since he has broken his contract with the Master and is no longer permitted to even request clothing or covering.
While all Level Four Offenses require immediate dismissal, the Master has the option of allowing reconsideration for some violations. If reconsideration is possible, the boy will be notified before he is released. Any boy who fails to immediately obey and fully cooperate with an immediate release will never be reconsidered for service.
It is important that House Boys consider their actions before doing things that could bring dismissal. Serious offenders, like the boy pictured, can place themselves in vulnerable situations when they do things that could land them naked and penniless in the home of a stranger. They may be forced into hard labor just to earn food or water or even a small piece of clothing in order to leave. The Master doesn’t operate this way of course, but the dismissed boy is no longer the Master’s House Boy. He is just some random guy who is naked and penniless – and also homeless – with very little bargaining power.
Fortunately, this Master has only found it necessary to issue one Level Four violation ever, and it’s doubtful something like the event pictured could ever happen again. The Master has improved his screening process, and all prospective House Boys are given and must pass Pre-Collaring Inspections & Interviews before the boy is ever permitted to come to the Master’s home. Even a boy who wishes to serve temporarily for one day or a special event must go through the same screening process, and must agree to everything in this rule before they can be collared and serve in the Master’s ‘Kingdom Of Mine’.
