Temporary Rule – Changes to Marijuana Laws
The Master has been informed that effective at 12:01 a.m. today the possession and recreational use of marijuana is now legal in California. This is the result of a citizen’s initiative that was passed by California voters in yesterday’s election. Marijuana continues to remain a controlled substance under Federal Law.
The Master does not smoke or use marijuana in any form but recognizes the changing times and attitudes of the American public. Effective immediately, the mere possession of a legal amount of marijuana on the Master’s property is no longer punishable and will no longer be considered a violation of the Illegal Substances Rule (See Below, Rule #173).
Nothing in this rule authorizes possession of marijuana in the Master’s vehicles or when traveling with the Master off the property for any reason, nor is the smoking of any substance permitted in the Master’s home or property, except as permitted by the Smoking Rule (See below, Rule #94).p>
Storage of marijuana and marijuana accessories and by-products will be where the Master directs, and subject to change until a permanent rule is finalized. The House Boy is not permitted to smoke or display marijuana in a public place as this is reportedly still against the law. Recreational marijuana possession and use is restricted to adults 21 and over under California law.
House Boys who violate this rule are subject to discipline up to a Level Three Spanking, and violations of California Law may result in discipline or dismissal. The House Boy is not permitted to allow recreational marijuana use to reach above a Level 3 on the High Assessment Scale (HAS) while on duty, or above a Level 5 during his recreational time.
This is a Temporary Rule that is added to the Naked House Boy’s Handbook as a response to a change in the law. Temporary Rules automatically expire in 30 days unless the rule is updated to become permanent or is dovetailed into another existing Rule or Protocol. The Master reserves the right to prohibit marijuana possession if unexpected problems interfere with his lifestyle or home environment.
This rule replaces the former Rule 362-T about Pokémon Go, which expired on August 18, 2016.
