The House Boy must never display the soles of his dirty feet to the Master except for on-demand or during a foot inspection. The Master should never have to view the dirty soles of a boy’s feet. This is a Level Three insubordination, except for unintentional or brief views which shall be punished immediately with a Level One single swat on the buttocks. The Master may designate this swat to another person with the words “Swat Him”. If two dirty feet were briefly displayed, the swat will be followed by the suggestion, “Swat Him Again!”.

In the example photo, a careless boy has allowed the sole of one dirty foot to show following a swim at a clothing-optional lake. Boys will never be forced to strip in a public setting unless it is legal or traditional to do so. The same punishments apply for displaying the soles of dirty bare feet when the boy is wearing clothing or covering.
