When the House Boy is in a public setting where clothing is required, the Master will ‘loan’ the boy an item or items to meet the dress code or required covering. The Master will ensure that the item or items issued will cover the necessary parts (including penis, scrotum, and anus) as required by local rules. Master will usually provide additional items and sometimes a complete outfit to wear, but is not obligated to do so. While Master does not intentionally try to embarrass the boy, Master chooses clothing and coverings based on practical reasons even if those choices cause the boy to feel ashamed or embarrassed. Selection of clothing or covering – other than the requirement that it meet local rules (including private dress codes in businesses and at events) is entirely up to the Master’s discretion.

The determination of whether clothing sufficiently covers the required body parts is made at the time that clothing is issued. Garments provided will be able to cover the necessary body parts while standing, seated properly, or walking through the house. Outside the home, it is the boy’s responsibility to ensure that his activity does not cause the clothing to become unsuitable. The boy may be required to take an overt action (like holding oversize shorts up) to keep properly covered, since the House Boy is also not permitted to wear underwear. In the example pictured, the House Boy has earned a day off in town, and Master issues suitable clothing for him to wear in the form of green knee-length pocketed shorts, which easily covers the required body parts. Later, another guy befriends our boy and they decided spontaneously to ride a bus across town and meet some friends. Unfortunately, the decision to take a bus ride is made just as the bus pulls into a stop about a half-block away, and the boys need to run to avoid missing the bus. Our inattentive House Boy is so concerned about missing the bus that he fails to notice his shorts slipping downward, to the delight of his new friend. While the mere exposure of his buttocks is not punishable, the boy will have to deal with the consequences of the exposure.

Master’s Rules do state that a boy can be punished with a Level One Spanking any time a clothing malfunction is reported, or at Level Two (deferred to returning home) if Master observes a malfunction, so the boy in the photo is lucky that Master is not present to enforce the rule. Ironically, if the House Boy in the photo ever brings the new friend back to home to meet Master – and if the friend casually mentions that he saw the boy’s shorts slipping downward – Master would have to issue an immediate Level One spanking on the House Boy’s bare bottom to the additional delight of the new friend. Cascading events like these happen rarely, but thoughtful House Boys should be on guard to prevent them. The new friend could even volunteer to administer the spanking, and since the friend was the ‘victim’ who complained about the violation, the Master would probably approve the request without a second thought.
