The Naked House Boy is required to submit to Daily, Weekly, and other inspections. Daily inspections will take place at assigned times at least two times a day. Newer boys may be subject to more frequent inspections. Periodic inspections are announced at random times or ‘for cause’ when an issue is reported to or observed by the Master. The Anal Inspection may be part of any Daily, Weekly, or periodic Inspection.

When a House Boy is notified of an Anal Inspection while he is in the bathtub, the inspection will take place before he exits the bathtub. The protocol calls for the boy to finish washing and rinsing (unless he already has completed these duties), and then adjust the water level so he may safely assume a position on his back, with both legs high in the air and his hands on his cheeks on either side of the anal opening. Sufficient water should be retained to allow cleaning and rinsing. If the boy allows too much water to drain, he will be permitted to add sufficient cold water to compensate, but will not be permitted to waste hot water unnecessarily. The boy will roll backward – keeping his legs and feet over the tub to prevent spillage – and present the inspection area when ordered to do so by the Master.

If anyone else happens to be present when inspection begins, the Master will point to the boy’s anal opening and explain the importance of this inspection, that it ensures the boy’s health and cleanliness. Guests will be asked to hold questions until the process is complete, though the Master may hold the boy in the inspection position to answer follow-up questions if necessary. When a portable shower head is available, the Master may drain the tub and use warm running water for rinsing instead. Assuming the boy passes inspection, he will be ordered to ‘At Ease’ prior to dismissal. If the Master has concerns during the inspection, an anal probe or enema, or a topical application or light alcohol swab may be ordered. If this inspection is combined with a Scrotum, Penis, or Testicle Inspection for efficiency, the boy will be permitted to stand for the remaining parts to be examined.

Anal Inspections are a sensitive procedure and are only conducted by the Master. Visitors will be notified in advance of this inspection whenever possible so that they will not accidentally walk in on something they may not wish to view. Guests who are curious about the inspection procedure are welcome to observe since the House Boy has no right to privacy at any time.

If follow-up procedures are necessary, volunteers will only be allowed to assist when additional hands are needed for enema prep or other needs like applying topical medications. Anal Inspections conducted outside of bathtub facilities are covered under different rules.
