The Sit Command has different protocols depending on when and where it is given. When this command is given and the boy is in water, he is to immediately sit in his present location only if he can do so safely and the water will not rise to and cover his nipples. This allows the boy to carry out a Sit Command in the jacuzzi, shower, or bathtub, but never in the middle of a lake or in the path or a large incoming wave at the ocean beaches.

The protocol calls for the boy to sit in place unless a location to sit has been specified, such as ‘Sit On The Rock’. The boy shall be seated on his buttocks with his hands either at his sides or on his knees, and his legs sufficiently spread so that he does not conceal his penis and scrotum. He does not have to carry out the command if it can not be done safely (in a shower with scalding hot water, for example), but he still must sit after moving to the nearest safe location. The boy should sit facing the Master unless ordered otherwise.

In the example photo, the boy has been directed to sit while crossing a shallow stream near the back end of the Master’s property. Because the boy’s feet and ankles and buttocks are submerged and making contact with the water or earth, the boy may be subject to a foot or buttocks inspection following completion of this command.
