The Master rarely has two House Boys serving together, but it can happen from time to time if a former House Boy returns, or a temporary House Boy is brought in for a special event or for training by a boy in service. When two or more House Boys are in service together, color coding of socks will be used to help identify Alpha and Beta boys. The Alpha will wear black when he chooses to wear socks, and the betas will wear white.

Any beta boy caught wearing the color black on the Master’s property – except when arriving or leaving – is subject to a Level Three Spanking for Insubordination. The alpha boy shall have the right to administer this punishment on request. Any alpha boy caught wearing white – except when arriving or leaving – is subject to a Level Two Spanking for failure to wear the proper uniform. 

In the example photo, two House Boys are serving simultaneous corner time (See below, Rules 126 & 120) following misbehavior by one of the boys, unrelated to the color of their socks. While the color of their socks may be different, the red marks on their bare buttocks are similar in color and saturation and are placed on display so that visitors will know that the boys have misbehaved. 

The same color-coding used for socks also applies to bow ties when worn at hosted events on the Master’s property.
