The Naked House Boy may occasionally be required to wear a bow tie while serving at home events like dinner parties or other gatherings. This is not considered a violation of the Nudity Rule as long as the tie is worn properly at the Master’s direction. The Master will store and issue a black or white tie as appropriate when needed for the boy.

When the House Boy is instructed to wear a bow tie, he should always install the tie in front of a mirror and then report to the Master to ask if the ‘uniform’ meets specifications. Bow ties should always be removed before showering, sleeping, swimming, and the boy’s weekly cleansing enema, even if the hosted event has not concluded.

The House Boy may also be directed to wear a bow tie with other clothing outside the home when chauffeuring the Master or attending events. The wearing of a bow tie does not necessarily guarantee that the boy will be provided a complete outfit to wear, and the wearing of a bow tie and as little as a pair of speedos or shorts is sometimes assigned. As long as the boy is wearing clothing sufficient to meet all dress codes, the Master has the right to determine what the boy can and can not wear at all times.
