Duties & Protocols – Entering The Master’s Bedroom
The Master’s House Boy is required to serve naked at home, regardless of what duties or chores he is working on and who may be present (or drop-in) and could observe. The boy has an assigned bedroom – without an entry door – as a reminder that he is entitled to no privacy at any time. Everything he does is subject to viewing or inspection, and he even must leave the bathroom door open while showering, grooming, or urinating – unless someone else requests that it be closed.
The Master – on the other hand – values his privacy, and it is the House Boy’s responsibility to both respect and protect it. Except during assigned chores like vacuuming or emptying the trash, it is a violation for the boy to open the Master’s bedroom door without specific permission. Permission may be granted verbally by the Master or may be written into or implied by a rule or interpretation.
When the House Boy wishes or needs to enter the Master’s bedroom and the Master is inside, the boy must first knock on the door quietly and then ask permission to enter. If no response is received after a knock, the boy may knock a second or third time at a louder volume, after at least 20 seconds have passed. When the boy opens the bedroom door after permission is granted, he must open the door far enough to reveal a clear view of his penis and scrotum (yet still hold onto the door) and then state the purpose of his visit. The Master will either approve or deny further entry and the boy will obey. The Master’s bedroom is separately climate controlled, and House Boys should be prepared for the feeling of warmer or colder air across the boy’s naked body.
This protocol also applies when overnight guests are present and they choose to close the guest room or guest bathroom door. The boy will never bother the Master or a guest when a ‘Do Not Disturb’ door hanger is visible, except in cases of urgency. The guest bedroom and bathroom are considered the private space of the Master’s guests, and the House Boy will grant occupants the respect, privacy, and authority that accompanies such a designation. This includes the right to conduct a physical inspection or Life Drawing of the boy (See below, Rule #170) or to report violations of rules to the Master while the boy is inside the guest-controlled areas.
Any House Boy who violates this policy is subject to punishment at any Level of Discipline the Master deems appropriate for the offense. Minor violations of entry to the Master’s room without waiting long enough for a second or third knock would likely be punished at Level One, for example. More serious violations that involve guests could be Level Two or even Level Three offenses, and theft of valuables from a guest could result in an immediate Level Four Dismissal (See below, Rule #173).
