The House Boy may be ordered to place clothing on an outside line to dry when a working clothes dryer is not immediately available for any reason. This may occur due to a power outage at home or when traveling and no dryer is convenient or available. The Master has the option of requiring the House Boy to install and use an outside clothesline in lieu of paid laundry facilities or as punishment for improper use of the electric or gas dryer. Like all laundry duties, this is a scheduled chore and will take place as assigned, regardless of who may be present and could observe. The boy may be punished for allowing clothing or other items to block the view of his genitals. On rare occasions where nudity is not permitted, the boy shall wear the smallest article of clothing to be dried that sufficiently covers his penis, scrotum, and anus, regardless of what type of clothes it is or whether it is wet or dry. This clothing assignment may take place regardless of whether the boy is using a clothesline or conventional dryer.
