
Exercise & Fitness – Push-Ups
The House Boy will maintain a daily exercise regimen which will be posted and updated as needed. One of the required exercises is Push-Ups. This exercise is done without clothing or footwear, though socks may be worn. The boy shall place himself face down on hands and feet with legs unbent and count off each complete push-up. In order for the push-up to count as valid, the boy’s nose or chin and his penis or scrotum must make simultaneous contact with the floor or carpet, however briefly. Complaints about unfairness related to body part size or positioning will not be responded to by the Master. Counting is on the honor system unless the Master or a guest volunteer to observe and count, in which case close observation needs to be maintained to ensure that the nose or chin and the penis or scrotum make the required contact. A record of push-ups completed (whether it meets goals or not) shall be maintained by the boy in his daily journal.
