The House Boy is responsible for shaving his facial hair every morning when at home. This is a scheduled activity and takes place regardless of who may be present and could observe. The bathroom door must remain open and the House Boy is not permitted to wear clothing or covering during this procedure, though footwear is optional. Lathering and shaving should not be stopped once begun, and the house boy will be expected to continue with the process, even if another person enters the restroom or a physical inspection of the house boy is begun. If the house boy is ordered out of the bathroom before shaving is complete, he shall take the razor and supplies to the nearest source of running water and complete the activity. House Boys with little facial growth may be assigned to shave less than daily.
