The House Boy will have his flaccid penis inspected and measured for length every week to watch for changes in health or other issues. This is a scheduled duty and will take place at the assigned day and time, regardless of who may be present and could observe. Measurement only may be taken at the same time as other measurements like height, weight, and scrotum circumference.

Protocol for the Flaccid Penis Inspection calls for the boy to be standing and while his penis hangs soft. A visual look at the penis will be followed by a visual look at the underside of the penis, while a curved finger is run gently around the top and bottom sides of the shaft to feel for skin issues. The penis head will be visually inspected – with foreskin rolled back by the boy if necessary. Measurement of the one is length is usually taken, and calls for one end of a tape measure to be placed at the top of the base of his penis, allowing the tape to rest along the shaft and across the meatus (or ‘head’). Master may choose to allow the boy to place the tape in position if his hand is steady, otherwise, it will be placed for him.

In the sample shown, a flaccid penis length of 5 3/8 inches would be recorded by the house boy in his journal. Erect penis measurements are covered under a different rule. Any boy who loses his flaccid status during an inspection will be subject to either an erect penis inspection or the intention to make his one is returned to flaccid status. The boy shall have no say in how this is achieved.
