House Rules require a Disciplinary Area be set aside so that serious punishment may be carried out in private when necessary. The Disciplinary Area is used for nearly all Level Three punishments and any discipline that must be administered when sensitive guests are present. The House Boy has no right to privacy though, so he has no say in who is permitted to view discipline procedures. That decision is made only by the Master, or the guests themselves.

When punishment is assigned to the Discipline Area, the Naked House Boy must be physically escorted to the punishment area. He may be forced to carry the implement to be used, and he is not permitted to wear clothing or coverings other than footwear while being escorted. The Master will use a two-hand grip at the neck and upper arm while escorting the boy on his walk of shame. No consideration will be given to the boy over who might see him during the walk because the humiliation of the escort procedure is part of the punishment. Non-sensitive guests are always permitted to observe the discipline process if they are curious about the procedure.
