Range Of Motion Assessment

Range of Motion Assessment

Every prospective Naked House Boy must submit to a Range Of Motion Assessment in at least nine key areas prior to collaring, and may be required to resubmit for partial or complete assessment if his physical condition or abilities are reported to or appear to change at any time after collaring.

long text

The House Boy may be required to submit to a Range of Motion Assessment at any time during his term of service. The House Boy will be furnished a copy of the assessment form in advance, and the Master will explain the contents and purpose of the form prior to beginning the examination. The House Boy will be permitted to ask questions in advance and discuss inspection protocol, using Appropriate Terminology (See below, Rule #123) when describing body parts and bodily functions. The accompanying form is nearly identical to the chart used for Pre-Collaring Inspections, except that emphasis is added to denote that protocol prohibits body privacy during any portion of the assessment.

The protocol requires the House Boy to strip completely naked, removing even the normally optional footwear and cap, though semi-permanent adornments like nipple rings may remain at Master’s option and a footwear exemption may be granted when needed for safe footing or balance. The House Boy will then be evaluated for body movement and motion range in the nine key areas shown on the accompanying form. He also may be tasked or evaluated for motion and movement in areas and body parts not listed at the Master’s discretion. Any disabilities or restrictions will be noted on the form for future reference to determine suitability for specific chore and exercise assignments.

A copy of the Range of Motion Assessment will be placed in the House Boy’s file and stapled to any previous forms for reference, and will remain available for viewing by any visitor on request. Any reports of reduced range or unexpected changes due to aging or other factors may result in re-assessment of the House Boy’s Range of Motion, though repetitive assessment will not be scheduled within seven days of any previous evaluation except in cases of discipline. Master will make reasonable accommodations for disabilities, including those with a reduced range of motion.

If a guest or other third party happens to be present during any Range of Motion Assessment, Master may ask for assistance in supervising the House Boy or logging results onto the appropriate form. The visitor will decide for themselves whether to accept or decline without input or opinion from the House Boy since he has No Right To Privacy during any examination (See below Rule #12). The presence of an observer or assistant reduces the risk of fall and injury should the House Boy lose balance, and therefore is encouraged. Any physical contact between the assistant and House Boy should be limited to that which is necessary to pose the House Boy for each assessment to maintain balance and safety and to assist in any post-assessment cleanup or other necessity.

A Range of Motion Assessment may be scheduled concurrently or consecutive to any other inspection or examination, at any time of day or night except between bedtime and sunrise. When a Range of Motion Assessment must be conducted away from home where clothing or covering is required, the House Boy may be transported to a discreet (but not necessarily private) location, where an expedited examination will be conducted with only the briefest necessary nudity to complete each assessment.

Following completion of any Range of Motion Assessment, the House Boy may be required to submit to Spot Cleaning (See below, Rule #57) or other washing to maintain cleanliness standards, in accordance with their respective protocols. Any House Boy who attempts to delay, dissuade or disrupt a Range of Motion Assessment after a verbal warning is subject to a Level Two Spanking (See Index, Rule #158) for the act of disrespect, with repeat violations punishable up to a Level Three Insubordination.
