The House Boy is responsible for placing or removing signs or notices on the main entry door as directed by the Master or these rules. Signage is occasionally posted to notify arriving guests of pertinent information including backup notification that the House Boy may be undressed. For themed events including the annual Clothing Optional Pool Party and the annual Underwear Party, appropriate notices about the dress code are posted. Other periodic notices include ‘Day Sleeper’ (when Master does not wish to be disturbed), ‘No Solicitors’, instructions for UPS and other package delivery services, parking instructions, etc.

Master’s front doorway is not visible from the public street, so the House Boy is not permitted to wear clothing for this duty, though footwear is always optional. The boy should use the peephole before opening the door if he has concerns about someone coming up the driveway. The presence of a sign on the entry door does not relieve the boy from his obligation to verbally inform visitors of the information printed on the sign.

Violation of this rule is a single swat Level One Spanking in the boy’s bare bottom plus one additional swat for every visitor impacted by the violation. The normal maximum of 20 swats for Level One punishments is waived for discipline issued under this rule, and punishment may take place in front of whoever happens to be present and could observe’.
