The House Boy is required to serve naked at home but is loaned clothing or covering of Master’s choice when traveling to places where nudity is not legal or traditional. Clothing provided will be sufficient to keep the boy in compliance with all dress codes – including those at private places like stores and restaurants – but not necessarily ‘fully clothed’ or socially acceptable to mingle without attracting attention. The boy has no right to ‘not be embarrassed’ or he couldn’t serve as a Naked House Boy in the first place.

When the House Boy is assigned duties or tasks at places where frontal nudity is not permitted but rear nudity is acceptable – or when the boy is assigned duties or tasks that will keep his backside out of view if he performs his assignment properly – the boy may be furnished clothing or coverings like aprons or jockstraps which cover his front side but provides insufficient or no covering of his buttocks or backside. A pair of 'Emergency Underwear’ or a similar garment will be stored nearby for use if a legitimate emergency arises (like a fire or flood) when the boy is working alone. The boy is not required or permitted to perform any action which would visually reveal his back aside or buttocks where rear nudity is not acceptable.

In the example photo, the House Boy has been assigned to work alongside Master as a volunteer for Snow Cone Vendors for a charity event. Although frontal nudity isn’t appropriate, the refreshment booth is enclosed on three sides and the boy is making and serving refreshments from behind a table in the protected area. Since the boy is not assigned any duty which requires that he turn around – and since no one can see his backside from across the table or at the corners of the enclosed booth – the boy has no need or right to have his buttocks covered. If Master leaves the booth or the boy is assigned to volunteer alone, a pair of 'Emergency Underwear’ may be discreetly stored within reach (taped to the underside of the table, perhaps).

When the House Boy is performing duties where nudity isn’t allowed yet his buttocks are uncovered because they can not possibly be seen, the boy is not required to comply with any rule or command which would require him to display his buttocks or perform any task which could reveal his buttocks. This includes requests to display tattoos, perform exercises, and similar duties.
