Objectification — Bathroom Towel Holder

The Naked House Boy may be Objectified as a Bathroom Towel Holder for the Master or a guest when such use is needed because the permanently installed towel holder is unserviceable due to breakage or is filled with towels which are not to be used, and the immediate need for a replacement towel holder is greater than the need for an actual House Boy carrying out his regular duties and chores.

long text

The House Boy may be Objectified as any object at any time, and he is required to obey instructions for Objectification without hesitation or delay, regardless of circumstances. This type of order is effective instantly — unless instructed otherwise — so he may have no opportunity to respond or even to ask questions for clarification or instructions. The House Boy’s obligation is to immediately and silently obey, period. If he does not understand an Objectification Command or wishes additional information or clarification, protocol requires that he tilt his head slightly with a quizzical expression to plead for more data. Regardless of circumstance, it is always the House Boy’s responsibility if he fails to legitimately attempt to obey unless it would be unsafe or illegal to do so pursuant to the Paramount Rule.

In the example photo, House Boy Mark is Objectified As A Bathroom Towel Holder at the request of an overnight visitor. Mark assumes a squatting position so that the towel is at a comfortable height for the guest, waiting for completion of the shower before the towel is used for drying off. Any additional movement of the towel rack — including vertical adjustment of its arms and legs — must be guided by the guest while the Objectified House Boy remains quiet and still. Should the towel rack need cleaning or drying, this will need to be done by a human as well. Although the House Boy is not subject to physical inspections while Objectified, the object itself may be examined for quality or functionality by the Master or a guest, depending on circumstances. If this occurs, it is important that the House Boy remain silent and still like a towel rack to avoid discipline for failure to meet expectations. While situations like Objectification as a Bathroom Towel Holder are rare, they may occur if the permanently installed holders are filled with house towels and the guest chooses to use his own, or when the regular holder is broken or loosely attached and in danger of falling to the floor below.

Objectification rarely lasts longer than 20 minutes per session and is time-limited by protocol to one hour maximum per calendar day, but maybe extended at the Master’s discretion to complete an activity already in progress during a hosted event. Objectification must not conflict with health and safety regulations, the Law Of Gravity, or Newton’s Law Of Motion. Visitors are required to obtain approval from the Master before attempting to objectify any House Boy.

Other examples of this command include Objectification As Display Art (See below, Rule #154-A), as a Television or Monitor Stand (See below, Rule #154M), or even a ‘Pin The Tail’ or ‘Ring Toss’ target during backyard gaming. Any objects which are tied or otherwise attached to the Objectified House Boy must be placed and removed safely, and any materials used for skin preparation, decoration, cleaning, or polishing must be safe for human contact and safely applied.

Objectification may also be ordered for demonstrative or functional purposes as part of any Educational Initiative (Rule #119). The installation or wearing of clothing or accessories during or immediately after Objectification is not a violation of the Nudity Rule (Rule #1). House Boys are subject to washing or inspection after any Objectification, regardless of who may be present and could observe. Nothing in this rule shall diminish or restrict any guest’s Basic Right To Observe And Comment (See below, Rule #191) about the House Boy’s nudity, body parts, predicament, or compliance with the various rules and protocols.
