The Naked House Boy is provided a variety of over-the-counter medications to use as needed. These include sunscreens and other lotions designed to protect or moisturize the skin. Boys with dry skin or other issues will be assigned to self-apply these during regular washing and grooming times in his assigned bathroom area. The bathroom door must remain open, regardless of who may be present and could observe, because the House Boy has no right to privacy.

During the warmer season when the boy participates in outdoor activities at the poolside or elsewhere on Master’s property, the boy has a responsibility to protect his skin from damage through sun exposure. He is responsible for maintaining sufficient lotion or sunscreen application to reduce the risk of overexposure and will apply sunscreen or lotions as needed or when directed to. Because of the difficulty in self-viewing all body parts for sun exposure, Master welcomes assistance in the form of watchful eyes of friends and guests to ensure that the boy is properly protected. The boy must remember that water exposure may necessitate reapplication of sunscreen.

Discretion must be used when applying lotions to the genital area, as some of the more vanilla guests may misinterpret this as sexually suggestive when it is actually a maintenance activity. For this reason, the boy is always required to ask Master whether he should apply sunscreen or lotion to his penis or scrotum when any guest is on the property, whether they are within hearing distance or not. Master will respond with instructions yay or nay, sometimes after a quick physical inspection to determine necessity. While Master welcomes assistance from guests with inspections or in applying sunscreen on the boy, Master would never place any guest in the uncomfortable position of being asked by the boy to get their hands messy, so the boy is never allowed to ask a guest for help and must ask Master for assistance instead. Master will then decide whether to deny the request, approve the request, or ask for a volunteer to assist.

In public areas like beaches and other outdoor venues where the House Boy is fully or partially dressed, he is permitted to apply lotions and sunscreen to any uncovered part of the body without asking advance permission, so long as has the required product needed. Master will make all other decisions related to inspections and application of products in areas temporarily covered by clothing.

In the example photo, the House Boy is preparing to sunbathe on the veranda during his recreational time and is applying lotion to protect himself from burning under the warm summer sun. If anyone else is present, the boy would ask Master before applying creme to his genital area, otherwise, he would be required to protect these parts the same as the rest of his body. His responsibility to apply sunscreen can not be used as an excuse to pleasure himself without permission, however, and he would be punished if the applying of lotion causes an erection to grow without permission.
