Duties & Chores – Washing Windows
The House Boy is responsible for washing windows only when he is ordered to do so. This is not a weekly or regular chore, and it is only done when there is a need for washing a particular window. Since none of the windows in Master’s home are visible from the public street, the boy must remain naked during this duty, though footwear is optional. Exterior window washing will not be ordered during inclement weather. Failure to clean windows properly will result in the boy cleaning the window again until it is done properly. Breaking a window is a Level Three offense.
