The Naked House Boy is required to pose for a sketch or ‘Life Drawing’ at the request of any house guest, except when there is a conflict with his other duties or chores. Posing may be directed verbally or hands-on and will stay within the boy’s physical abilities. When a request for ‘Life Drawing’ is made, the boy is to report to the location requested by the artist, and the artist is considered Temporary Master for the duration of the posing.

To protect the creative work of the artist, photography of the artwork is not permitted without the permission of the artist. Failure to pose as instructed is an action of disrespect and is subject to a Level Two Spanking (with an implement such as a brush), followed by the posing for Life Drawing as requested by the artist. If the misbehaving boy and the artist choose to carry out the punishment without notifying or inconveniencing the Master, the punishment will be reduced to a Level One Spanking (bare hand over the knee). For all punishments, the minimum number of swats is one and the maximum number is 20, to be determined by whoever is administering the discipline.

A House Boy who is unable to accommodate a request for Life Drawing due to other duties or chores will offer to schedule the posing for another time or day and will report the request to the Master. The House Boy has no right to privacy during any Life Drawing, and the artist may choose to allow others to view or assist in posing the boy at any time.
