The House Boy is required to be naked at home but is permitted clothing or covering wherever nudity is not legal or traditional. Unfortunately for the Master, that’s mostly everywhere (including the Master’s hometown), so the boy gets to wear textiles of the Master’s choice when leaving home. Unfortunately for the House Boy, however, there are places to travel to where nudity is okay. This includes friend’s homes, nude beaches, and resorts, and a few remote locations without anti-nudity ordinances.

When traveling and arriving at any location where nudity is permitted, the Master has the right to order the boy to immediately strip naked at any time, even immediately after exiting the vehicle. Clothing worn by the House Boy is on loan from the Master to the boy and must be returned upon demand. In the example above, the Master has taken the boy to a remote area that is posted ‘Clothing Optional’ and has told the boy that ‘Master’s Option’ is that the boy strip and stay naked until it is time to leave. The fact that Master has invited friends along who are in the back seat and watching has no bearing on the boy’s obligation to obey. He is the House Boy and he has no right to privacy.
