The House Boy will undergo both daily and periodic inspections. Daily inspections will take place at assigned times at least two times a day. Newer boys will be subject to more frequent inspections. Periodic inspections are announced at random times. The Anal Inspection is a periodic inspection procedure.

Upon the announcement of an Anal Inspection in his bedroom, the boy will assume a position on his bed laying on his back, hands grasping his feet or lower legs, with the legs extended as fully as possible. The boy is then required to rock backward to reveal the inspection area. Assuming the boy passes inspection, he will be ordered to ‘At Ease’ prior to dismissal. If the Master has concerns during the inspection, an anal probe or enema, or a topical application or light alcohol swab may be ordered.

Anal Inspections are a sensitive procedure and are only conducted by the Master. Visitors will be notified in advance that the House Boy must undergo an inspection in his quarters, to allow guests to remain out of view of the procedure if they choose to do so. Guests who are curious about the inspection procedure are welcome to accompany the Master and the boy into his quarters to observe since the boy has no right to privacy at any time.

If follow-up procedures are necessary, volunteers will only be allowed to assist if additional hands are needed for enema prep or other needs like topical application. Inspections outside the boy’s bedroom are covered under another rule. It is extremely rare for an Anal Inspection to be conducted outdoors, and outdoor anal inspections are covered by a separate policy.
