Showering is the normal method of washing for the House Boy, but tub baths are sometimes used for various reasons, and a well-behaved boy who prefers bubble baths is granted permission to do so during his recreational time. When the House Boy is permitted or ordered to bathe using a bubble bath he shall maintain a sufficiently low water level to maintain a clear visual of his penis or testicles – or a substantial view of his buttocks – at all times. 

The House Boy is not entitled to privacy while bathing, and standard bathroom rules still apply. Any house guest or visitor who wishes to use the bathtub or bathroom may order the boy to leave immediately until the bathroom is once again unoccupied, or they may exercise their right to share the facilities with the boy.

Following a bath session, the exit and boy shall dry in compliance with the Drying Protocol. If travel is planned, he shall dress following the Dressing Protocol, otherwise the clean and fresh boy shall remain naked when leaving the bathroom, regardless of who may be present and could observe. House Boys can not be required to share bathtubs unless there is sufficient room for two or more persons to fit into the tub, either side by side or face to face.
