Inspection Procedure – Foreskin Retraction
Every House Boy is subject to a variety of physical inspections, including scheduled Daily, Weekly & Monthly Inspections as well as periodic and random inspections of specific body parts when good reason exists. The House Boy is also subject to washing or cleaning at any time. Since the Master does not discriminate on the basis of circumcision status, some uncircumcised House Boys will have foreskin overhang.
The head of the penis and the skin of the shaft underneath the foreskin – as well as the foreskin itself – are very sensitive to most males. Care must be taken in handling to ensure that the boy is not hurt or injured since a Penis Inspection is a maintenance procedure and not punishment. In most cases, the boy will be allowed to handle the foreskin himself, but there may be situations for some boys where another person is tasked to perform the inspection or other maintenance. The Master finds it surprising that some of his friends – both male and female – and some House Boys themselves are unfamiliar with the proper handling of males with foreskin overhang.
This educational photo shows the eight types and stages of the uncircumcised penis. Not all foreskins are seen in all stages, since some foreskins have only a partial overhang at the maximum flaccidity of the penis. When necessary, the foreskin should be gently rolled back over the head of the penis, and never grabbed or yanked. The goal is to take a penis that looks like one in the top row of photos and gently transition it to look like a penis in the bottom row. For the boy with a full overhang, the penis will transition through all eight stages from the upper left (tiny opening) to the lower right with the exposed head and the sensitive upper shaft completely visible. To avoid unpleasant sensations, these areas should not be touched as part of the foreskin rollback, and even more, detailed inspection or cleaning should proceed gently. It is the Master’s policy to always allow an uncircumcised House Boy to roll back his own foreskin for all scheduled inspections (including daily, weekly, monthly, and pre-collaring) as well as scheduled washing and grooming sessions. Random and ‘for cause’ cleanliness inspections (and any follow-up actions such as cleaning or application of medicinal ointments) are better suited for the Master or a volunteer to conduct. It is not appropriate for an untrained guest or volunteer to handle this sensitive area of the boy’s body, so these guidelines and the accompanying photo will be posted in the boy’s bedroom or a guest bathroom any time an uncircumcised House Boy is in service.
Circumcised House Boys are exempt from the guidelines and exceptions described here and may be inspected or cleaned according to standard protocol. It is the responsibility of all House Boys to maintain their body parts in a clean and presentable manner at all times. Requests by a boy to change his circumcision status will be considered by the Master only after the request and a photo of the boy’s penis have been posted on either the refrigerator or in the guest bathroom for 30 days to allow comments by the Master’s friends and visitors. He is the House Boy and he has no right to privacy.
