As part of his daily routine, the Naked House Boy is be required to apply deodorant or antiperspirant to his underarms after each bath or shower. Both spray and stick style deodorants will be made available at the Master’s expense. The Master may choose to make any deodorant application himself or assign the duty to a volunteer. Application of deodorant is a scheduled duty and takes place regardless of who may be present and could observe. This duty may also be ordered if the house boy is reported to have a negative odor at any time. In cases where a guest makes such a report, the Master will consider allowing the guest to apply the deodorant to allow the negative odor to be completely eradicated.
