The Naked House Boy will be permitted to access an internet-enabled tablet device to research and shop for the Master and to use for himself during his free time at home. Use of the device when traveling away from home is strictly at the Master’s discretion. Tablet privileges may be restricted at home or away for any misuse of the device, or as a substitute for any deferred spanking for any offense. The Master may impose this punishment without the boy’s consent, or the boy may request this punishment in lieu of spanking, subject to the Master’s approval.

The House Boy is not allowed to hold or use the device in a way that significantly conceals the view of his genital area for a period of longer than 10 consecutive seconds, though the device may be casually rested against the genitals in a stationary manner. Devices will not be used by others without the Master’s permission, except that certain guests may be ‘whitelisted’ as having tablet privileges. The use of cellphones, computers, and game devices is covered under different rules.

In the example photo, the Master walks in to see the House Boy reading an eBook. Although the boy is not violating any rule, he will be ordered to report for Inspection because the Master notices the boy has a cut or wound on his knee. His body will be closely inspected for evidence of scrapes, cuts, bites, and stings, even if guests are present and choose to observe. Follow-up may include the application of topical medication or bandages if necessary, and the boy has no right to privacy during this process.

Note that the House Boy is wearing trendy black and yellow socks. The Master permits the boy to wear socks – and choose color and design from those provided – though the choice of color and design may be restricted during home events like dinner parties or when traveling away from home. Some House Boys choose to serve barefoot and exchange the right to wear socks for exemption from some other rule. The Master is open to special arrangements for Special House Boys, as long as the arrangements are negotiated prior to collaring.
