The Naked House Boy is required to submit to Daily, Weekly, and other inspections. Daily inspections will take place at assigned times at least two times a day. Newer boys may be subject to more frequent inspections. Periodic inspections are announced at random times or ‘for cause’ when an issue is reported or observed by the Master. The Anal Inspection may be part of any Daily, Weekly, or periodic Inspection.

When a House Boy is notified of an anal inspection and told that it will not be conducted in his bedroom, the boy must report to the Inspection area and assume a position on his back, with both hands grasping his feet or ankles and his knees retracted toward his shoulders. The boy should then roll backward to clearly display the inspection area. The boy has the right to request a pillow or carpet if the inspection is not being conducted on a couch or other furniture. If others happen to be present, the Master will point to and explain the importance of the anal inspection and that it ensures the boy’s health and cleanliness. Guests will be asked to hold questions until the process is complete, and the Master may hold the boy in the inspection position to answer follow-up questions if necessary.

Assuming the boy passes inspection, he will be ordered to ‘At Ease’ prior to dismissal. If the Master has concerns during the inspection, an anal probe or enema, or a topical application or light alcohol swab may be ordered.

Anal Inspections are a sensitive procedure and are only conducted by the Master. Visitors will be notified in advance that the House Boy must undergo an anal inspection, to allow guests to remain out of view of the procedure if they choose to do so. Guests who are curious about the inspection procedure are welcome to observe since the House Boy has no right to privacy at any time.

If follow-up procedures are necessary, volunteers will only be allowed to assist when additional hands are needed for enema prep or other needs like applying topical medications. It is extremely rare for an Anal Inspection to be conducted outdoors, and outdoor anal inspections are covered by a separate policy.
