A House Boy who needs or is instructed at home or away to change clothes (add, remove, or both) while he is Wearing a Clear Raincoat (Rule #166) must do so while maintaining a substantially unobstructed view under the raincoat and is subject to discipline for obstruction of view longer than Eight Seconds (Rule #251), but shall not be required to add or remove multiple items of clothing in any particular order nor fold clothing for proper storage while a threat of rain or wind could damage or blow away any clothing so removed.

The House Boy is required to remain naked at home but is loaned clothing or covering when traveling to places where nudity isn’t allowed. The House Boy may also be permitted or required to wear a raincoat or rain suit during inclement weather (See below, Rule #166).  

When a House Boy is dressing or undressing while wearing a raincoat, he’s permitted to add or remove clothing in any order for expediency and is not subject to punishment for violating protocols that otherwise require clothing to be added or removed in a specific sequence. He’s also not required to fold or place clothing where it’s likely to get blown away by wind or otherwise negatively affected by inclement weather. The House Boy is still responsible for maintaining a clear view of his body while naked underneath a transparent rain suit and is still subject to an inspection of any body part for good cause.  

Raincoats may be used at the same time as an umbrella when protocol allows for either, and any House Boy who is providing Umbrella Escort (See below, Rule #266) for arriving or departing guests is not required to travel beyond the property line without Minimal Clothing underneath a transparent raincoat (See below, Rule #111).  

In the example photo, a House Boy accompanies the Master on a camping trip where rain unexpectedly dampens the experience. Since the outdoor weekend is part of a lifestyle event at a clothing-optional private campground, the House Boy remains naked but is instructed to put on a clear raincoat as precipitation moves in. When temperatures quickly drop near sunset, Master tells the House Boy to get dressed for warmth and we see him struggle to pull bikini underwear up and over his rapidly shrinking scrotum. Pants will follow since health and safety are paramount, but fortunately, the weather clears by morning for a day of sunshine and warmth.  

The Paramount Rule allows the House Boy to refuse any instruction or protocol that’s unsafe or unhealthy (or of course illegal), and even gives the benefit of the doubt to the House Boy when facts are uncertain, but it’s up to the House Boy to invoke the challenge and articulate specifically why the Paramount Rule applies. Master still has the right to modify instructions to minimally meet the requirement that the House Boy activity remains healthy, safe, and legal. In the example pictured, the clear raincoat kept the House Boy dry and warm for several hours (while still visually exposed), and only when the temperature dropped as nightfall approached was clothing temporarily allowed.
