All rules violations by the Naked House Boy are punished at Level One unless otherwise specified in the rules. Level One Punishment calls for a bare hand spanking on the bare bottom. Discipline usually takes place immediately, regardless of who may be present and could observe. The are several positions that may be used for Level One punishments, and the most common is Over The Knee. When this position has been chosen by the Master, the boy will be positioned facing away from visitors to avoid embarrassment to house guests. Following each swat, the house boy shall announce the number of the swat or the swat will not count.
