When the House Boy is not cooking the meal but is responsible for miscellaneous meal prep like dicing of vegetables or grating cheese, these duties must be completed in sufficient time that it won’t delay the actual cooking and serving of the meal. Meal prep needs will be posted on the refrigerator at least a day in advance, whenever possible. The boy will usually be naked for this duty, though footwear and a backless apron are sometimes assigned. This is a scheduled activity and will take place regardless of who may be present and could observe.
