The House Boy has access to a variety of sporting equipment to use for his daily exercises and recreation time. These include a bicycle and exercycle, treadmill, pool toys, balls, frisbees, table tennis, billiards, video gaming devices, golf clubs, basketball hoop, tennis racquets, ping pong, and more. It is a punishable violation for the boy to use these items in a manner that could damage or break the equipment or be dangerous to himself or others.

In the example photo, the House Boy has been issued a jockstrap and is playing one-on-one basketball at a friend’s home, when the House Boy chooses to show off by grabbing and hanging from the basketball rim. Obviously, this isn’t an accident, since the other boy is still dribbling the ball. While the Master has some appreciation for rim jobs while dribbling is taking place, this isn’t what he has in mind, and the boy is subject to a Level Two Spanking for disrespecting the equipment.

The Master almost never assigns jockstraps for outdoor use (except where nudity is already legal), even though the non-sexual display of butt cheeks is not considered indecent in California. This is because the showing of the anus by a boy bending over is illegal, and any intentional shakey-bakey of the buns could be interpreted by the prudish as going too far. But on this occasion – at a friend’s in a community with no anti-nudity law and the boy wearing something extra (hidden) designed to cover the back entrance – a jockstrap is an ideal uniform for a shorts vs. skin game of hoops – and the ideal uniform for the swats on the behind that he will receive for hot dogging in front of his friend.
