The Master-slave Handbook

Masterdom

The term Masterdom denotes the extent of a Master’s domain, rule, or command; the sphere of his control. The Master is the only dominant being within that realm, and all who are part of that realm are ruled by him and are subject to his will. Naturally, there is a distinction between those in and out of the lifestyle as submission to his glorious power is not forced, and also a distinction between other dominants who enter into that realm. There is also a distinction between those slaves who enter a Master’s Masterdom as that Master’s slave, and those who are a slave in the general sense.

The Master’s Kingdom, or his Masterdom, usually encompasses his home and its boundaries that form the extent of his chief domain. However, his Masterdom is also emanated from any location he is, when in the company of a slave and thus his laws, rules, and commands similarly apply, though maybe adapted for public use accordingly.

Any slave who enters into a Master’s Masterdom becomes part of his kingdom and becomes under his command, under his sovereignty and his rulership. The nature of the relationship determines the nature of the rule. A personal slave, for example, would be precisely governed, perhaps micro-managed, whereas a visiting slave would be expected to show general signs of respect only.

When a potential lifestyle slave enters the Masterdom of a Master on a recurrent basis he builds a relationship with him. It is a unique relationship: no other slave has the same relationship because how the Master relates to one slave is not going to be the same as how he relates to someone else. This relationship identifies the slave for who he is and from within his kingdom a slave becomes free to serve his sovereign Master.

The term Masterdom usually applies specifically to a total power exchange relationship as total power exchange requires sovereign (or ultimate) power to be in the hands of one man, the Master; the slave being under absolute control in all areas.
