Assessment and Screening —
Pre-Collaring Inspection and Disciplinary Orientation

All applicants for House Boy— except those who are applying only as a Travel Companion — must submit to and pass a pre-collaring interview and inspection.
The pre-collaring interview allows the applicant to be familiarized with the various rules and protocols, to learn details about the Master’s home and guests, to review and complete the various required charts and forms, and have a conversation and receive instructions regarding the Master’s unique home environment, house guests, and details of the actual pre-collaring inspection which is the final step before the rules and protocols are actively enforced when the House Boy is placed into service.
The interview — also known as the ‘meet and greet’ — takes place in a public location like a cafe or park setting, allowing the Master to evaluate and determine the applicant's comfort level and candor in reviewing charts and during discussion of topics that could be embarrassing to the candidate if overheard. Appropriate Terminology will be used, and applicants who cuss or repeatedly fail or forget to use appropriate words in public may be deemed unsuitable to complete the interview or proceed to inspection.
Topics discussed will include the protocol and procedure for the required Strip Search Full Body Inspection and general discussion of the concept and nature of living naked. While the conversation will be kept at a discreet volume, it is possible that a server or nearby patron could overhear or briefly view the various documents or forms, and the Master will not censor conversation nor take extraordinary measures to prevent potential embarrassment to the applicant. House Boys do not have a right to not be embarrassed or they could not serve as a Naked House Boy in the first place, therefore applicants are not given such a privilege during the ‘meet and greet’ as it might cause unreasonable expectations. Within the bounds of appropriate terminology and any restrictions by local law, the Master will respond honestly in the unlikely event that he or the applicant is overheard or paperwork is seen and he or the applicant is questioned by someone who is curious about what they have seen or heard. The same guidelines apply after collaring and serves as a good test to the applicant for his ability to deal with the minor embarrassment of his status as a Naked House Boy becoming accidentally revealed.
The actual pre-collaring inspection follows and takes place at a neutral site like a hotel room, private office, or warehouse space, if available. The applicant(s) enter and are usually directed to immediately strip to their underwear, or naked if they aren't wearing underwear. Various forms including the Strip Search and Body Measurement and Penis Classification Forms are available, and applicants will initial and date these to indicate consent to inspection and the various procedures and protocols which were previously explained at the pre-collaring interview.
The process continues with the applicant washing his hands and preparing to have his entire body lathered and rinsed prior to physical inspection. Applicants are sometimes permitted to remain in their underwear during the hair and scalp wash but may be required to strip completely naked at the Master’s discretion. Full nudity is always required when the applicant is then instructed to enter the shower where each and every body part is individually lathered and rinsed. This includes the applicant’s neck and face, shoulders and upper back, chest, and stomach and lower back, pubic bone and both butt cheeks, anal cleft and anal opening, penis and scrotum, upper legs and knee area, lower legs and ankles, feet and toes, and hands and fingers.
Following the washing and rinsing of all body parts as described above, the applicant is then given a secondary quick lathering and/or soapy brushing of his entire body followed by a full-body secondary rinse, which may be administered by spray hose if available. The Master will be fully or partially clothed during the entire process, and only the applicant will be required to undress. The candidate then exits the shower to be quickly dried off, with each body part then individually patted dry if necessary. Full wrap drying may or may not conclude the cleansing process.
With the applicant now clean and dry, the official Pre-Collaring Inspection and Examination can now begin. Using a similar process as during the washing, every body part listed above is now individually and carefully examined and inspected first visually for appearance, second physically for mobility, and third hands-on for functionality to determine if the body parts are safe and healthy, and suitably moveable and functional. Any defects or issues are be noted on the various charts and forms, but do not necessarily disqualify the candidate. This establishes a baseline so that subsequent changes can be identified after collaring, allowing the Master or others to request a reinspection or re-evaluation of any body part if there is an apparent change.
For reference: An example of a functionality inspection is the ear which may be tested for the ability to hear or the penis which may be tested for the ability to urinate. An example of a mobility inspection is the elbow which may be tested for the ability to bend within a normal range of motion or the penis which may be tested for the ability to become erect.
The process continues following these body part inspections with the applicant being physically measured with results to be noted on the Body Measurement Form to establish similar baselines for future reference. Measurements taken will include but not be limited to height and waist size and other dimensions listed on the charts and forms, but also circumference or other measurements of many body parts which may include arms, legs, fingers, penis, and distances between key body parts like the nipples, anus, nose, ankles, belly button, urethra or other parts at the Master’s discretion. If more than one candidate is present, the Master may task applicants to measure each other, otherwise, the Master may bring in a third party to assist with this task to speed up the process.
The Pre-Collaring Inspection continues with a Disciplinary Orientation module. Candidates will learn and assume several of the various physical corporal punishment positions as prescribed in the rules and protocols. This orientation requires the applicant to consent to receive a minimum of one swat in each of the selected disciplinary positions, though the impact is not at full strength unless the candidate so agrees, since the applicant has not actually misbehaved. Candidates are reminded of the various levels and types of discipline provided for in the rules and protocols and are reminded that they have no right to privacy even during punishment. Application of disciplinary restraints may be offered, although true restraints won’t be used unless the candidate so consents since many House Boys are dedicated to service and will never actually experience punishment restraints after collaring.
Candidates should be aware that throughout the entire inspection process — including washing and drying, and visual and physical and mobility and functionality inspections, and body measuring and disciplinary orientation — they may be simultaneously questioned and/or given basic commands like sit, stand, turn around and bend over to evaluate their ability to multitask and properly interpret and obey instructions. Candidates who are flagrantly or repeatedly unable to process and obey simple commands while being washed or inspected or responding to questions may be required to submit to and pass supplemental testing before the inspection concludes. They may also be silently evaluated for qualities, traits, and issues which are not specifically mentioned in these protocols such as attitude, gait, posture, leakage from bodily orifices, nail care, attention deficit, etc.
Applicants will also be given an opportunity to ask the Master questions that may require an answer by demonstration. An example of a question that requires an answer by demonstration would be: ‘How Do you Inspect The House Boy’s testicles?’. In this case, the demonstrative response would be for the Master to gently cup the applicant’s scrotum in the Master’s hands and to gently roll the left and right testicles to check for lumps.
If the applicant has not been instructed to do calisthenics like push-ups or jumping jacks during the multitasking evaluation, he will be instructed to carry out some basic exercises to evaluate stamina. Calisthenics or exercise will be limited to the applicant’s stated abilities and consideration of any disability and noted on the various forms for future reference. If multiple candidates are present, they may be tasked to spot for each other, including holding ankles down for sit-ups, etc.
At the end of the entire inspection process, the candidate is given a time out while the Master reviews the various charts and forms and finishes any written notes and evaluations. Applicants may be allowed to get partially or fully dressed at the Master’s option, or they may be required to remain naked during the time out. After time out, the candidate is either notified of a pass or a fail or may be asked to contact the Master at a subsequent time or date in the unlikely event there is an unresolved issue like a skin rash or other condition that needs follow-up. Candidates who successfully pass inspection may be offered immediate collaring but are not obligated to accept such offer, and may choose to respond at a future time or date.
Any candidate who successfully passes Pre-Collaring Inspection and is offered immediate collaring — and who chooses to accept such an offer—is subject to full enforcement of all rules and protocols upon collaring. This includes potential nudity, loss of privacy rights, and immediate compliance with all grooming protocols regardless of who may be present and could observe. The former candidate — who is now officially an actual House Boy — may be stripped completely naked, forcibly shaved, or otherwise groomed to the Master’s standards, and made to obey whatever instructions or protocols that the Master chooses to enforce. The House Boy may also be required to do chores or any other duties whether for the entertainment of the Master or others or for any practical reasons. Any attempt to delay, dissuade or fail to obey or otherwise not meet expectations could result in discipline, regardless of who may be present and could observe.
Collaring may be offered in one or more of four categories, regardless of the categories applied for by the candidate. The four available classifications for House Boys are:
- Permanent full time as a live-in,
- Temporary full time as a live-in for limited duration such as seasonal or short term,
- Part-time on call for occasional or weekend events like pool parties and backyard barbeques, or
- as a Travel Companion either for road trips or to accompany the Master for or during travel away from home (including to the hometown of a successful applicant).
Candidates applying only as Travel Companions may be allowed the opportunity to submit to the required interview or inspection immediately before or during an actual road trip or travel to the applicant’s hometown at the Master’s discretion, reducing or eliminating the need for the full formal inspection process described above.
