The House Boy is required to remain naked at all times while at home but is loaned clothing to comply with the law and dress codes wherever he travels with the Master away. His right to wear clothing is determined by the law and the dress code of places that he visits, and the Master is not required to provide more clothing than what’s needed to be legal or meet dress codes at a private location like a gym, cafe, or friend’s home. The boy has no right to not be embarrassed, or he couldn’t serve as a Naked House Boy in the first place. This means that the Master can require the boy to travel wearing as little as a speedo or as much as a full tuxedo, and the boy has no say in what he wears. 

The House Boy has the right to know what the dress code is at all places where he visits. Since the manager or owner of a business or home may change the rules at any time, the House Boy must be prepared for the possibility of adding or removing clothing at any time. 

In the example photo, the House Boy is at a gym that’s owned by a business acquaintance of the Master’s, and the boy has been ordered to complete his exercises and lap swimming before the facility closes. Unfortunately, the boy fails to complete these before closing time, and the Master has to ask the owner to allow the boy to stay after hours to complete the swimming laps. The gym owner, knowing that the House Boy isn’t allowed clothing at home, tells the Master (with a grin) that the boy can stay but ‘The pool is nude only after closing time,’ and an employee who is still on duty cleaning laughs and nods his head in approval. 

When any dress code changes while the House Boy is away from home, the rules for the boy change along with it. If the dress code requires more clothing, the Master will provide clothing or covering sufficient to stay in compliance. If the code is relaxed, the boy may be required to take off clothing or have it removed for him. In the example photo, the boy has no choice but to strip before entering the pool. Circumstances like these are rare, but they do occur from time to time, especially when the Master and the boy are visiting friend’s apartments and homes.
