Each full-time House Boy is evaluated prior to collaring for several characteristics. One of these is the presence of hair near the anal opening. Some boys are required to keep this area smooth, others are not. Shaving of the House Boy’s anal opening is a scheduled activity, and like any other duty or chore, it happens at an assigned time, regardless of who may be present and could observe. Part-time and temporary House Boys are exempt from shaving requirements, on request. The Master appreciates offers from visitors to help the boy with his scheduled duties and chores, and these requests are granted whenever practical. Due to the sensitive nature of the anal area, shaving will only take place under the Master’s supervision.
