The House Boy is required to serve naked at home, though footwear is often optional, and he has no right to privacy regardless of who may be present and could observe. His right to even occupy space is subject to the passive permission of anyone else present, who can choose to co-occupy space at any time or even temporarily direct the boy to leave a room or a piece of furniture to allow someone else to occupy the space with the boy absent.

This House Boy was taking a shower but has just been told by a guest to leave the bathroom because the guest needs to use the toilet and wishes to do so alone. It’s unfortunate that the boy was all soapy when the guest needed to go, but the right of the Master’s house guest to use the bathroom (or any room or piece of furniture) outweighs the House Boy’s wish to finish washing without interruption. If time permitted he would dry off before exiting, but there may be times where a guest needs immediate use of the toilet and in those situations, the boy must exit unprepared.

Given the circumstances, the House Boy will not be punished for dripping soap or water on the floor or carpet, though he does need to use good judgment, which usually means finding Master and asking for instructions. This boy has hesitated in the hallway, probably because Master is hosting guests in the other room and the boy does not wish to be seen in this condition. Even worse for the boy is the obvious attempt to cover up by piling the soap bubbles over his penis and scrotum. Both the hesitation and covering up are violations deserving of Level One Spankings, even if the boy isn’t judged to be improperly touching himself down there. A related rule (‘Towel Request For Drying’) states that 'punishment may be carried out before the boy is dried off', and this House Boy’s poor judgment has turned an unusual circumstance that would have quickly been forgotten into an embarrassing punishment scenario right in front of the very guests that he was seeking to avoid.

Following discipline, the boy will need to face each guest and apologize for his poor judgment, before returning to the shower to finish washing. The House Boy must always be aware that violations of the Nudity Rule invite evaluation whether other rules are being broken too. This boy should have continued into the next room and calmly asked Master for instructions, and Master would have told him to either get a dish towel to dry off or wait outside the back door until the bathroom is unoccupied. The few chuckles that might have happened would be been a lot less attention than the spanking of a soapy misbehaving boy in front of a house full of guests.
