The Paramount Rule is the Master Rule and supersedes all other numbered rules, protocols, instructions, and commands. The Naked Houseboy may invoke the Paramount Rule and refuse to do ​​​​​anything illegal, unsafe, or dangerous, or violate any public or private dress code while away from home. While the Naked Houseboy can not be punished for triggering the Paramount Rule to avoid an activity (like laying naked and unsafe on an ant hill with live ants), the Master may announce a suitable substitute or revised instruction, which is not a violation of the Paramount Rule.
