The Naked House Boy is required to follow established protocols for a number of common commands. Most of these commands are obvious to the casual observer, including ‘Sit’ to be seated and ‘Sleep’ to rest. The ‘Nipples’ command is a little different in that the reasoning for the Master issuing such a command may be less obvious, even though the boy’s expected response is easily discernible.

Protocol for this command calls for the boy to pinch both nipples using medium pressure simultaneously with his thumb and forefinger, and until the Master says 'Harder’ (to increase the pressure, 'Lighter’ (to ease off the pressure), 'Hold’ (to maintain the current pressure), or 'Release’ (to discontinue pinching). Failure to properly obey and control self-pressure to the Master’s satisfaction may result in the Master choosing to pinch the boy himself or asking for a volunteer (if available) to do the pinching.

The Nipples Command serves as a quick method of evaluating the boy’s Penile Status Expectation or 'PSE’ (pronounced 'Pissy’ for short). The Master observes the boy’s penis while pressure is being applied to determine how likely it is that the boy will spring a leak or grow an erection in the coming hour, and this is used to make decisions on whether the boy’s Penile Status Expectation is suitable for planned activities (such as visiting vanilla guests that could be offended by an unexpected erection). The Master uses his knowledge of the boy’s 'wiring’ and observation of subtle penile movements to make this determination. The command can also be used with high pressure (not self-applied by the boy) as one of several available methods including the Flaccidator (See below, Rule #96) to deal with penises pointing one direction when the other is required.

On rare occasions, the Nipples Command may be used for other reasons, including (but not limited to) a Demonstration Command (to mentor other Masters or their boys), or to facilitate Spot Cleaning (See below, Rule #57), or as discipline for misbehavior having to do with that body part, including self-stimulation or touching another person’s nipple or chest area without permission. When the boy is off-property and dressed, this command is to be carried out without removing clothing (except for coat or sweater), since the boy is generally not permitted to wear underwear and his Penile Status can still be easily determined.

In the example photo, a boy is working in the Master’s private backyard when he is given the Nipples Command. The Master has seen a car pull into the driveway and knows that the visitor is 'French Vanilla’, which is the Master’s term for guests who are laid back enough to accept a Naked House Boy but not accepting of any hint at kink or sexuality, including the sight of an accidental erection. The Master will observe the boy’s penile response for signs of engorgement (See below, Rule #107) before deciding whether to let the boy answer the front door.
