This photo shows one example of a Level Two spanking about to occur. Spanking at this level is unrestrained but requires the use of an implement. Implements can range from the timid (a wooden ruler) to the intermediate (the Master’s belt) to the severe (a fraternity paddle). If one of these items is not available or desired, the Master can always use a shoe or sandal as a suitable alternative.

The boy is always naked for discipline, though footwear may be worn at the Master’s discretion. A punishment that is not deferred will take place regardless of who may be present and could observe since the boy has no right to physical privacy at any time.
Responsible and obedient House Boys should never receive punishment at this level, and the Master has indeed “good boys” who never earned physical discipline because they enjoy serving and pleasing the Master. House Boys who lack self-control or suffer from inner brattiness do become familiar with the smack of an Implement against their buttocks. The boy’s actions determine whether this punishment is merely a page in the rule book for guests to laugh about or a reality for them to observe.
House Boys always have the right to know and see what implement will be used for their punishment. Cleats, snowshoes, and other footwear with characteristics that could cause injury will not be used for spankings. A boy who receives discipline while wearing only one shoe will serve corner time wearing only the same shoe. Guests will not be permitted to administer punishment at this level without reading safety guidelines or observing an actual Level Two punishment first.
As pictured, the display of any Level Two implement to the House Boy should serve as a warning that punishment is coming. A close look at the redness on his buttocks tells us that this isn’t the first time he has misbehaved today.
