The House Boy is generally required to serve naked at home and is loaned clothing or covering to wear when traveling away from home where nudity isn’t allowed. He is usually required to strip upon arrival at home and is permitted to dress when preparing to leave.

Any time that the House Boy is required to be naked and he is not naked, the Master and others have the authority to enforce the Nudity Rule. This includes both verbally ordering the boy to strip or physically removing the boy’s clothing for him. Authority does not include the right to intentionally damage or destroy garments or to harm the boy in any way, except that temporary restraining of the boy is permitted during removal if the boy shows any sign of resistance or hesitancy. Unintentional damage to clothing due to a boy’s failure to cooperate could result in the boy being disciplined for disrespect.

Confirmation of the House Boy’s clothing permissions is required before enforcement by others. The protocol calls for the guest to ask the Master if the boy is required to be naked, and the Master will respond with the boy’s current requirements. (Example: “The House Boy is required to be naked, but he is permitted to wear socks at this time.”). Once verbal confirmation has been requested, the boy (if present) is prohibited from leaving and must obey any guest orders to remove prohibited clothing. Alternatively, others may choose to physically enforce the Nudity Rule by temporarily restraining and forcibly stripping the boy.

Authority of others to enforce the Nudity Rule extends to places off the property where the boy is required to be naked but is presently clothed for some reason, including places where dress codes may change. Verbal confirmation by the Master is still required and must include specific authority to depants the boy, to ensure that the removal of clothing does not give a false impression that the boy is being attacked or assaulted. Verbal orders by others for the boy to strip may be given discreetly (whispered) or overtly (announced where others can hear). The House Boy has no right to ‘not be embarrassed’ or he couldn’t serve as a Naked House Boy in the first place.

In the example photo, the partially clothed House Boy has just arrived with the Master and some friends at a location where nudity is legal, when a friend of the Master’s alertly asks if the boy is now required to be naked. It does not matter that the boy has been present for only a few seconds and barely has had the time to begin removing his clothing. The Master responds that the boy is now required to be naked and the friends immediately grab the boy’s arms and begin removing the clothing for him. The boy must suffer the indignity of being stripped because he failed to ask if he should get undressed before someone else posed the question to the Master.

Circumstances like the one pictured are rare because many house guests are unaware of the boy’s rules but predicaments like this do happen from time to time, and it is always in the House Boy’s best interest that he immediately ask about Dress Codes whenever he is unsure. Since the Master tends to overlook minor violations at home – like when the boy remains dressed for a few minutes after returning home from shopping – it is prudent for the House Boy to be alert when others are present who may choose to help the Master by pointing out the violation and forcing the boy to immediately get naked.

When vanilla guests are present and the Master does not wish the boy to be forcibly stripped, the Master will respond that the boy is required to be naked and order the boy to remove his clothing immediately. Visitors have the right to immediately restrain and/or depants the House Boy when any Birthday Spanking is about to be administered. No confirmation if the boy’s clothing status is needed as long as the boy is at home or in any private residence, regardless of who may be present and could observe.
