Thank You to Tumblr Follower ‘Servus-improbus’ for submitting this photo of his compliance with the House Boy’s duty to perform a ‘Weather Check’ (See below, Rule #295). Our good-looking follower didn’t tell us what city he was sending this from, but it sure looks scrotum-shrinking chilly!

For those of you wondering whether the Master’s House Boy would really be required to perform a Naked Weather Check from a hotel balcony overlooking the city during broad daylight, the answer is 'Maybe’. The boy would *not* be required to be naked if it’s illegal to be naked in public, but the rules do not *prohibit* the boy from choosing to remain naked, either. While there is a rule that permits the boy to wear white underwear on hotel balconies (See below, White Underwear on Hotel Balconies Rule #289), the rule 'permits’ underwear but does not 'require’ it. And the Weather Check Rule says, “When traveling with the Master away from home, the boy may or may not be clothed when the command is given, and the Master does not give thought to things like dress codes or the boy’s nudity when asking for a Weather Check. A House Boy who completes a Naked Weather Check away from home will never be punished, but a boy who gets dressed because nudity is not appropriate will likewise not be punished, as long as he gets naked again when returning inside. The boy would only be punished if he gets dressed when he could have remained naked…” Either our follower decided that doing the Naked Weather Check was less risky than taking a chance on the Master spanking his behind for putting on underwear, or there isn’t an anti-nudity law in his city in which case he *would* be required to remain naked for this duty.
