A primary duty of the house boy is to answer the landline telephone. The phone must be answered within 4 rings, otherwise, it automatically forwards to voicemail or cellular service. A list of exceptions, such as when answering would cause food to burn or the door to be unanswered will be posted. Punishment for failure to comply will begin with a warning, followed by a Level One over-the-knee-spanking of four swats, and will reset daily. This punishment will never be waived to avoid observation by house guests, regardless of circumstance.
