
Exercise & Fitness – Hand Weights
The House Boy will maintain a daily exercise regimen which will be posted and updated as needed. At least one of the required exercises will be knee bends using hand weights. Exercise shall be performed without clothing or footwear. The boy will stand with his feet under his shoulders and grip one weight in each hand, then lower himself while bending his knees until he reaches the position shown in the photo. He will then return to the start position and count off each complete knee bend until the proper count is reached to match his posted goal. Counting is on the honor system unless the Master or a guest volunteer to observe and count. The boy should complete 50% of the touches facing in the direction of his choice, and the second 50% at a 180-degree angle from the previous touches. A record of touches completed (whether it meets goals or not) shall be maintained by the boy in his daily journal.
