The House Boy is responsible for checking the expiration date on all packaged or bottled items in the refrigerator, and for discarding expired products. If the Master or any guest finds an expired item the boy will receive a Level One punishment, except for milk and milk products. In the case of milk products, the discovery of an expired container will bring special punishment of a Milk Shower, using the expired product. The boy is also responsible for checking expiration dates prior to travel and should ask for instructions to avoid punishment when returning home.
