Discipline & Punishment – Notice of Discipline To Be Posted
The Master’s House Boy has a schedule of duties and chores that is posted at home for interested persons to read. Posting a schedule allows guests and potential visitors to plan visits around the chore times so that they will not interfere with or be made to view activities they don’t wish to see. It’s also possible that some guests could use the schedule to be present and observe certain activities, but this is not the House Boy’s business and the Master will not concern himself with such a trivial accusation since the House Boy has no right to privacy anyway.
One activity that can not be placed on the posted schedule is discipline, which would be assigned when the House Boy misbehaves. For discipline which is going to be administered immediately, the Master announces that that boy has misbehaved and that punishment will commence shortly. Guests are given an opportunity to excuse themselves – either from the room or the home – before the boy is actually punished.
Sometimes the House Boy earns a punishment when it isn’t practical or possible to administer discipline right away. Perhaps the boy is in the middle of a music lesson or baking. Perhaps the Master is visiting with guests and doesn’t want to break the social flow with a spanking or to surprise the more vanilla visitors by suddenly reddening a naked boy’s buttocks. Or perhaps the Master and the boy are in town shopping or driving and punishment just has to wait for a better time. When these circumstances occur, the Master will create a ‘Notice Of Discipline’ to be posted at home as a reminder that corrective action is scheduled. If the Notice of Discipline is created in the presence of others, the Master may announce to everyone that the boy has misbehaved or the Master may discreetly hand the form to the boy as silent notice that he is to be punished. Either way, the notice must be posted next to the House Boy’s Chores Schedule as soon as practical.
The purpose of posting the Notice of Discipline is to advise guests of the time and type of punishment that the boy will be receiving so that guests can plan to be away if they don’t want to watch. The posting of the notice is not meant to embarrass the boy, though some guests could use the notification as an opportunity to be present if they are curious about how punishment is administered. Since the House Boy has no right to privacy anyway, it follows that he should earn no right to privacy by misbehaving, so the boy will be punished at the time and level on the notice, regardless of who may be present and could observe.
The House Boy is required to answer honestly and completely any questions that are asked at any time about a planned discipline that is already posted. This includes phone calls from the Master’s friends and even questions from house guests or anybody else, even if they are vanilla and just happen to accidentally view his chore schedule and see the discipline notice. The boy is not required to answer questions from strangers in a public place when the Notice of Discipline is handed silently to him by the Master and is not yet posted at home.
Any House Boy who fails to post a Notice of Discipline promptly is subject to an additional punishment equal to the original discipline assigned, though minor delays of 15 minutes or less may be punished by a single ‘Reminder Swat’ instead.
