The house boy is responsible for maintaining working light bulbs and changing all non-working light bulbs promptly. The discovery of a non-working light bulb indoors is a single swat Level One offense. Any guest who feels inconvenienced by a non-working bulb shall have the right to immediately administer this punishment to the house boy on the spot without delay, or report the circumstance to the Master for follow-up. Light bulbs that burn out are to be changed out within three minutes unless replacement bulbs are not in stock. Violation is the same as the discovery of a non-working light bulb.

House Boys are not subject to punishment for outdoor lighting, except the front porch light which is considered ‘indoor’ for the purpose of this rule.
