Although Master is technically allowed to restrict the House Boy to wearing any single item of clothing or covering when traveling away from home, the wearing of Minimal Clothing must be safe, legal and compliant with prevailing dress codes (See Paramount Rule), therefore the House Boy may only be assigned the wearing of a single sock as his only clothing when he travels without visible pubic hair to a location where his backside nudity is either hidden from view or complies with local dress codes (like a private home or event where dress code permits) and only when the selected sock can be fitted to reliably cover his penis and scrotum whether seated or standing.
